Stolen Classic Car ALERT! - 1937 Buick from Fort Worth

Just as I have been putting the final touches on next week's article entitled, "Increase in Classic Car and Muscle Car Thefts Have Owners Concerned", I get the distressing news that another theft has occurred, this time rather close to home right here in Texas.

A Fort Worth man contacted authorities about his 1937 Buick Century 4-door Sedan which was stolen right out of his gated townhouse community parking garage sometime between 5pm Sunday, August 26 and 3pm Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Authorities need your help with any information available! This isn't your ordinary classic car, and should be memorable if you've seen it.

Jamie Alexander wisely contacted Hemmings.com to see if the classic car enthusiasts that follow events through Hemmings Daily, the site's daily newsletter, could help him recover his collector car. Hemmings has a huge following they refer to as "Hemmings Nation", and this group can be extremely helpful in getting the word out to people who can give crucial information to authorities.

Have you spotted this stolen 1937 Buick?

We'd like to help Jamie locate the stolen classic car he uses for weddings and photo shoots. He originally purchased the car out of Hemmings Motor News. The car appears to have been singled out for the theft, as there were two other classic cars (a '34 Chevrolet Master and a '41 Packard) parked next to the stolen Buick. This is a beautiful, clean classic car that has had a professional frame-off restoration, along with many upgrades.

Our thanks to Hemmings.com for getting the word out. We're hoping to do our part by helping to distribute the alert to even more people who might just hold the key to getting the this beautiful sedan back safely.
